Are you actually Indigenous-owned?
Yes. Indi Connect is 100% Indigenous-owned, founded and led by an Indigenous woman. We say it on the front page because it’s the foundation of the business, not a marketing claim.
What does an engagement cost?
It depends on scope, since there’s no one price for six different capabilities. We quote each engagement to the work. Labour and traffic are day-rate or project-rate, recruitment is fee-based, and project management and cultural & strategic consulting are scoped to the brief. Tell us what you need and we’ll come back with a clear, itemised quote and no surprises. We’re always happy to talk budget early so we can shape something that fits.
How quickly can you mobilise a crew?
Mobilisation timing depends on the project. Location, site induction, ticket verification and cultural briefing all factor in. For labour hire we can move within a day or two for established clients. Once we’ve scoped the work with you, we’ll come back with a clear timeline and stick to it.
Do you only place Indigenous workers?
No. We recruit and place anyone, with a focus on upskilling and sustainable career progress for Indigenous candidates. Across labour hire and traffic, our approach is community-led and culturally responsive. The right person for the role comes first, and that Indigenous focus is how we build the pipeline and the pathways.
Can you support our reconciliation strategy?
Yes, we work across all four Reconciliation Australia stages (Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, Elevate). See Cultural & Strategic Consulting under Services for more detail, but the short version is that we build it with you, then walk it from launch through reporting. We don’t write you a glossy PDF and disappear.
Where do you operate?
We operate nationally, with crews and consultants active across QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, WA and TAS depending on the project. For national projects (mining, infrastructure, government) we mobilise wherever the work is.
How do you handle cultural authority?
We don’t speak for Country. When you book a cultural engagement, we connect you with the right Traditional Owner, Elder or Knowledge Holder for the Country your project sits on. Properly briefed, properly remunerated, and properly named in the engagement.
